I spend my first day at Falaknuma palace was very enchanting and satisfying. The next day I headed for another location in Hyderabad and one of the important places in the city
which is known as Nehru Zoological park. It
is regarded as one of the important places here. Several people come to this place to see the well- known and well-preserved species of flora and fauna in the national park.
The park is well-known for its lush green area and it refreshes and rejuvenates the people visiting here. I enjoyed the cool and calm atmosphere at the national park. This park is very important for a place like Hyderabad as it is busy city.
The major pull of the Park is the hundreds of species of flora and fauna preserved there. This place is also known as the Hyderabad zoo. The zoological park is spread over 380 acres and it is
regarded as the first zoo in India where the animals are arranged in open enclosures for the first time. It was establish in 1963.
The cool and fresh air was truly rejuvenating; I walked through the park and could see panthers, lions, Hyenas, preserved in its true habitat. Though photography is not my passion the beautiful surroundings tempted me to take some snaps and videos. I took many photos of peacocks and pheasants, animals and reptiles.
Some zoology students were there with me in the park who came for their study tour. I got some information about the species of the animals and plants from them and they said the park has
plenty of rear varieties of herbs and plants in it. Several reptiles were also preserved in it. The whole atmosphere was very humid but the park was well- maintained and very clean.
The whole park was very silent except for the chirping of birds and sounds of animals. I walked for kilometres inside the park. It was indeed a very good escape from the hustle bustle of the city routines and busy life.
It was afternoon when I came out of the park; I had some refreshments and headed towards the hotel. I was very tired of walking around the park hence I dint visit any other place that day. Late in the evening I reviewed the photos and cherished the moments in the park.
