I had a very good experience visiting different places in Amritsar and Patiala. Both the places have a lot to offer to the tourists. Holding rich history and culture these places has plenty
of architectural buildings, palaces and monuments. I enjoyed the calm serine nature of the hotel. My next spot in my agenda was the Punjab Cricket Association Stadium.
The stadium is a huge structure which was situated in Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, Chandigarh. It is located around 250 km away from Amritsar hence I booked a cab from the hotel and started off to visit the place early in the morning.
The most convenient method of transportation to the stadium is booking a cab. The stadium is otherwise known as the Mohali which was founded and built by the Punjab cricket association in 1993. Despite the fact that it is a home ground to Punjab group, the stadium is famous worldwide for numerous matches being played here.
The stadium looked awesome with its green grass and it has lightings to suits to hold day and night cricket matches. It was well-maintained tide and clean. I gained information from an authority that the stadium has set great measures to offer outstanding facilities to the players.
A cricket expert informed me that the first cricket match held here was the worldwide match played between India and South Africa. Moreover, he informed me that the stadium was constructed at an
incredible expense of 25 crores and it has a capacity to holds thirty thousand individuals at once.
The stadium has a swimming pool, exercise room, changing area for players, practice places, and tennis court to provide convenience for a perfect accommodation of sports persons. On the other hand the stadium has a high scoring recording held in the world cup in 1996 between West Indies and Australia.
I spent a quality time in the stadium and by then I was tired and went in search of some hotels nearby to refresh myself. In the evening I returned to the hotel room and spent my beautiful night watching the stars from the balcony of the hotel room.
