It was my hectic days snowed with work for past a month hence I thought of taking a vacation. Though I love the Pink City where I lived as it holds a rich long Mugal history and there are many
historical places and monuments to explore. My love for history made me explore the nook and corners of this city. Since I like to explore different culture and ancient heritage I thought
of visiting Amritsar which I heard is a good place for a person like me.
Amritsar was founded in 1577 and the holy shrine in this spectacular city is regarded as the holiest place for Sikhs. Golden temple is one of India’s most visited places and the divine place worshiped by the Sikh. I explored this place on the Google and collected much information about Amritsar. From the internet I could understand this place is very serene and a best place to indulge in serenity and divinity.
I collected information on Jaipur to Jalandhar trains and find out a suitable train to Amritsar. I booked my ticket on Ajmer Express. The mobile apps helped me to find out best suited train for my schedules and convenience. My train timing was at 8 pm and it was suppose to reach Amritsar station at 2.45 pm. Since I prefer luxurious travel I booked my ticket in an ac compartment.
I reached the Jaipur station around 7 clock and the station was crowded. I was much excited to visit this holy place. Since I booked my food online I got the food on time. The compartment
was neat and tide, I was supplied with a pillow and two bed sheets. My co passengers were good and we talked about several things throughout the journey.
There were children in the compartment I enjoyed their chitchats and plays. Being an AC compartment I couldn’t enjoy much scenic beauty outside. Within a short while the whole atmosphere in the compartment becomes very calm as everyone fell asleep. I was reading my favorite book for a while. At midnight around we reached Bhiwani Junction from where I had a tea.
I reached Amritsar station around afternoon and my cab was waiting for me at the station, I headed towards the PR residency thinking about
the forth coming days in Amritsar.
