My stay at the Hotel Delta International, Bodhgaya

During my trip around Bodhgaya, I wondered to have a good and comfortable stay. Out of all the options I chose the Hotel Delta International, Bodhgaya. To say truly, I loved the hospitality around the place and it was a very comfortable atmosphere around as a whole.

The Rooms are very well-decorated and both sunsets and sunrises could be observed from the hotel. The Hotel Delta International is located on the Domuhan road in Bodhgaya. The hotel is based amidst tourist spots like the Mahabodhi temple, Royal Bhutan monastery and Royal Bhutan Temple making it such a fabulous place to stay at. It provided me with basic but important necessities like internet access, housekeeping, etc. The hotel has a self restaurant called “Honey Point’ which had food options like Chinese, Indian and continental. I liked the food items being served there very much. They were well cooked without any kind of unnecessary spicing. I could also have my coffee from the premises. Sitting in the hotel lobby and reading the travel log made me more conscious about Bodhgaya. I became more informative about the places around. I even came out of the main gate of the hotel Delta International for recharging only to realize that it did not feel as if I was in a remote based hotel. The entire place was filled with visitors from various corners of the globe. The place around was actually colorful to look at. I had a nice room to myself. It had air conditioning and television both of which helped me to break free the tiredness of the day. I built a natural understanding with the receptionist who gave me more information about the place around and inculcated within me some knowledge about Buddhism and the significance of Buddhist teachings.

At night when I was laying in the bed in my room, I wondered about my experience in Bodhgaya. It was a mixed feeling and I became very fond of the place and decided to come back again.
