Hotels In Manali : Your Excuse To Indulge!

My name is Lalit Chandran and I am a resident of Jaipur. Sometimes in the summer the heat in my hometown can get too much to bear so I planned an escape from the heat! I booked a first class ticket for myself to Manali! The train travel was everything I had hoped for relaxed and tranquil. I was received at the airport by a car to be whisked away to my home for the holiday! When I was deciding on a place to stay in Manali I realised that only the best will do! So I booked a room at the best of the hotels in Manali which is the Holiday Inn.

Like most of the hotels in Manali this luxury hotel had all the materials to make my stay special. They had a salon, a spa and even a fitness centre where I spent most of my mornings doing yoga and meditating. The people of Manali have such a rich culture and they are so hospitable that they just can’t say no to you! Once I expressed my love for history to the hotel staff they suggested a variety of ways that I could spend my leisure time. I took their advice and went to the travel desk to rent out a car.

There were so many historical sites in the city for me to see. It is true when they say that you can never really understand a city and its people unless you understand their roots. For me just standing close to an age old monument or fort was more than enough information I need! And once I had had my fill of history I retreated to the hotel for a warm meal at the Holiday Inn’s in-house restaurant. Plate after plate of delicious treats from the local cuisine was put before me and it was an experience that I would quite like to try again!

About Author :

"Hi there, my name is Lalit Chandran. I currently reside in ‘Pink city’ i.e. Jaipur where I run a garment export business. Having spent all my childhood in Rajasthan, I fell in love with Indian history and all its glory. So, whenever I get an opportunity, I travel to various places all across India exploring old cities, museums, forts and historic monuments. This blog will catalogue all the places I have visited, people I have met along the way and different cultures I got a chance to experience.

I am hoping sharing all my adventures will help raise awareness about our ancient heritage and maybe help preserve and protect these remnants  of India’s glorious past. Feel free to leave your comments. "
